Welcome to the FEMA NFIP Stakeholder Support Group (SSG)!

We are excited that you have accepted the challenge to participate in the Stakeholder Support Group [formally known as the Executive Decision Group (EDG)].

SSG’s purpose is to communicate NFIP Bureau ideas, IT system changes, and NFIP process improvement opportunities for both business and technology at the NFIP Bureau. The NFIP IT Services and Business iServices teams have initially identified several existing NFIP processes to discuss and analyze to ensure NextGen technologies are business-driven and positively affect the way WYO companies and vendors communicate and exchange data.

The NFIP IT Services and Business iService teams facilitate the SSG. Membership is open to employees from FEMA, WYO companies and flood vendors. SSG meetings occur four times a year in Crystal City, VA. These meeting normally occur the day before the IBHS General Session.

Your involvement is greatly appreciated. We look forward to your ideas and input as we jointly work to improve the NFIP.
