Status:
NextGen has modified our logic from counting policies based on status (e.g., active, etc.) to use only the effective, expiration and cancellation dates to determine the ‘in-force’ policy dataset. This logic is very close to the legacy’s system and is being verified by the NFIP IT Services and FEMA.
Bug 4:

For the 'Lookup>Lookup' report, it is unclear how to lookup data.
Status:
The user must use 'Address Line 2' for searching, not 'Address Line 1' for the search to work properly. Using Address Line 1 may not produce any results, depending on how the WYO Company reports their data via the TRRP Cycle. 2.) NextGen has implemented a new report 'Lookup>Lookup By Address' for easier search capability, so users will not have this issue moving forward

Reports Error Management
When an error is generated in a month, that month's FTP report will reflect that error. That month's report will be a snapshot of how many errors there are for that month. Historical Reports starting in April 2008 are available in SQANet.
Example September 2008 Report
- September 2008
- Policy ABC 1 New Error
- Policy DEF 1 New Error
- Policy GHI 1 New Error
Total Errors For September 2008 = 3
When a prior month's error is cleared it will be reflected in the report for that month. Reports error counts are recalculated for every month based on outstanding error. It is a snapshot for that month.
Example October 2008 Report
- September 2008
- Policy ABC 1 Error (Not Resolved Outstanding)
- Policy DEF 1 Error (Corrected)
- Policy GHI 1 Error (Corrected)
Total Errors For September 2008 = 1
- October 2008
- Policy JKL 1 New Error
- Policy MNO 1 New Error
- Policy PQR 1 New Error
- Policy STU 1 New Error
Total Errors For October 2008 = 4
Accumulative Errors = 5
Each month's report will show a new calculation for outstanding errors.
Example November 2008 Report
- September 2008
- Policy ABC 1 Error (Not Resolved Outstanding)
- Policy DEF 1 Error (Corrected)
- Policy GHI 1 Error (Corrected)
Total Errors For September 2008 = 1
- October 2008
- Policy JKL 1 Error (Corrected)
- Policy MNO 1 Error (Corrected)
- Policy PQR 1 Error (Corrected)
- Policy STU 1 Error (Not Resolved ? Outstanding)
Total Errors For October 2008 = 2
- November 2008
- Policy VWX 1 New Error
Total Errors For November 2008 = 1
Accumulative Errors = 4
Error reports are no longer going to snapshot old months error counts, since it is meaningful to only show the totals of errors that are still outstanding for that month. You can always view these "snapshot" counts by looking at SQANet reports under Tech Services folder for a prior month starting with TRRP Cycle April 2008. This new error displaying starts for TRRP Cycle April 2008. This current picture of errors will help WYO Company error chasing, since they will be able to address the outstanding counts.
